The wedding of SNs police minister was an elegant mix of French chic and African flair
IT WAS one of the most talked-about weddings in years. Even President Jacob Zuma was in attendance — along with half his cabinet. And the guest list read like a roll call of who's who in South Africa's political and business world. Among the 550 guests were deputy president Kgalema Motlanthe, Inkatha Freedom Party leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi, mining magnate Patrice Motsepe, his wife, Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe, and IT billionaire Robert Gumede. They were all there to see police minister Nathi Mthethwa (46) tie the knot with prominent businesswoman Philisiwe Buthelezi (50).
