EDITOR'S NOTE An objective eye is so useful in business. I was reminded of this recently during a chat with an entrepreneurial couple. She is a product development expert and he an advertising and branding guru, and from the outside looking in it was clear that marketing was their sticking point. Their excellent product in its stunning packaging couldn't get shelf space in key retailers and so wasn't finding its way into consumers' hands. A major push on social media and Saturdays spent handing out testers and they've made it into a few retailers today… and looking to getting more.
