Too ambitious, want to start big, while others prefer taking short cuts. Businesses initiated by young people usually within a few years from inception because some founders are too ambitious and want to start big while others prefer taking short cuts and omit essential basics such as company registration and keeping company accounts and paying tax, business experts have said. Free State National Empowerment Fund (NEF) regional manager Lehlohonolo Mohlabi told The Weekly at a youth conference and expo organised by M3 Marketing which was held in Bloemfontein last Friday that many young businesspeople are failing to get funding because they are in hurry to get big and in the process make several fatal mistakes that usually result in the failure of their businesses.
