More support for small farmers, PICKNPAY.CO.ZA – Pick n Pay

We’ve partnered with Nkomamonta Organic Farmers’ Cooperative, who’ll soon be supplying 217 tons of organic veggies to PnP stores countrywide.

As part of our ongoing mission to support emerging farmers, Pick n Pay made the commitment to the Department of Trade and Industry (dtic) in March this year to provide dedicated organic produce shelf space in 50 stores. Nkomamonta Organic Farmers Co-operative, based in Tzaneen, was formed in November 2005 and consists of 16 member farmers, established to market their organic vegetables.
