Home is where the heart is, the old cliché best describes Mthetho Lalu — a university graduate in education, civil servant and political activist who could have easily turned his back on his small home town of Rouxville to pursue bigger opportunities elsewhere but, instead, is leading efforts to develop the small town.
Through the Rouxville Development Agency (RDA) that he initiated and leads, Lalu says they hope to transform the town into a tourism centre and commercial hub in the Mohokare Local Municipality.
