Is it fair that Khanyi Dhlomo was granted a R34-million loan by the National Empowerment Fund to open a new luxury boutique?
NO There are so many other projects that money could have boosted. She opened a boutique for a very small market which can afford the expensive clothes. Those who can't afford her clothing could have benefited a lot, through feeding schemes or shelters for street kids. Only the rich will reap rewards from this.
South A rica has made it acceptable or prominent people to misuse funds that are supposed to build this country. Look at the President as well. When they are granted, a very small percentage of those loans will be used for people who are in need, and the rest will go towards personal things.
