Rapid Purple Waters Trading (Pty) Ltd is the first black-owned feedlot in the Eastern Cape. The company is structured as follows: the Ndlazi Family Trust holds 30%, the technical partner, Bruce and Glen Family Trust, jointly owns 45% and the Workers‘ Trust 10%. The project cost is R40.6 million; NEF’s contribution to the investment is R26.8 million senior debt.
