Mr. Mathamela is a finance professional with a B.Com in Business Management and Industrial Psychology from UNISA, and advanced training in derivatives and risk management from Barclays Capital in London.
He is Managing Director of Pro-Grace Investments, a financial advisory firm focused on municipal debt markets, restructuring, and credit ratings.
Formerly Treasurer of the City of Johannesburg, he has also served on several boards, including as Director of City Power and Arkein Capital Partners, and as Chairman of Johannesburg Metropolitan Trading Company, Pikitup, and RH Managers Fund.
