IT WAS one of the most elegant and high-profile celebrations the country has ever seen. The stylish nuptials of minister of police Nathi Mthethwa and his lovely bride, prominent businesswoman Philisiwe Buthelezi, were an exquisite fusion of Parisian chic and African flair. The much-anticipated wedding was attended by half of the government's cabinet, including President Jacob Zuma and Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe. Mingling with SA's top politicians at the celebrations were a number of SA's business leaders including mining magnate Patrice Motsepe and his wife Precious, Robert Gumede and his wife Portia and Vivian Reddy and his wife Sorisha Naidoo.
